Cleveland Browns are going to be short-handed in Week 6 coming off of their bye week it looks like.

Quarterback Deshaun Watson did not practice again on Friday and was ruled out against the San Francisco 49ers. Left guard Joel Bitonio did not practice either and was ruled out. Tight end David Njoku practiced for the first time this week and is questionable.

The Browns are starting P.J. Walker from the practice squad at quarterback, who is set to get his first start with the Browns.

Watson has been unable to practice all week with the same bruised rotator cuff that kept him out against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4. The Browns seem content with letting the injury heal before he hits the field again.

While Bitonio’s knee injury isn’t thought to be serious, he has not practiced this week either. It is not ideal to be missing Bitonio on the left side with the level that Jedrick Wills Jr. has played at, especially for a backup quarterback.

Njoku did play against the Ravens last week and was a rare bright spot for the team in that game, he hasn’t practiced this week. With burns to the face and arm, Cleveland has really limited him this week.

Full injury designations will be posted here when available.
