The Alabama Crimson Tide have officially entered the mix for one of the nation's fastest rising recruits.
2026 five-star quarterback Keisean Henderson tweeted on Wednesday that he received an offer from Alabama.
Henderson, 6-foot-3/185 lbs from Spring, TX, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 2 athlete in the nation and the No. 19 overall player in the nation.
On3, meanwhile, has Henderson rated as the No. 8 quarterback in the nation and the No. 109 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class (I'd expect that ranking to change in the coming weeks/months).
Henderson, who received an offer from Georgia in January, has been committed to Houston since last May.
Henderson told On3 recently that he has no intentions of flipping from Houston, though he also acknowledged that he's "hearing people out".
“Not taking the visits to flip or anything like that, because I love Houston with all my heart,” said Henderson. “Just hearing people out, cause you never know, it’s a changing game.”
We'll see how things play out in the coming months, but I'm sure Houston certainly isn't taking Henderson's commitment for granted. They know they're going to have to hold off some heavyweights to get this one to the finish line.
