The Alabama Crimson Tide could be on the verge of swiping a key recruit from a rival SEC program.

247Sports' Tom Loy predicted this week that 2025 four-star defensive back Maison Dunn will flip from Ole Miss to Alabama.

Dunn has been committed to the Rebels since early May.

"I've decided to put in a 247Sports Crystal Ball prediction for [Dunn] to flip from the Rebels to the Alabama Crimson Tide," wrote Loy. "From everything I've gathered, Alabama has been putting the full-court press on Dunn and it seems like it's working. The Crimson Tide have made him a top priority since first offering back on Sept. 1 and there is growing confidence in Tuscaloosa that when pen hits paper, they'll land his pledge."

Dunn, 6-foot-2/180 lbs from Tupelo, MS, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 27 cornerback in the nation and the No. 11 player in the state of Mississippi. He's also rated as the No. 288 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class.

Stealing a commit from Ole Miss is one thing. Stealing a commit from Ole Miss who is from Mississippi would make this a little sweeter for the Crimson Tide.

Alabama currently has 21 players committed to its 2025 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 3 in the nation.
