Former Alabama safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix joined the New Wave Podcast this week for a conversation with current Crimson Tide players Ryan Williams and Jaylen Mbakwe.

Clinton-Dix, a first round selection by the Green Bay Packers in the 2014 NFL Draft, played at Alabama from 2011 to 2013. He won back-to-back national championships (2011 and 2012) during his time in Tuscaloosa.

At one point during the podcast, Williams asked Clinton-Dix which SEC team was his least favorite to play against.

Clinton-Dix, surprisingly, didn't go with a top rival like Auburn, LSU, or Tennessee.

Instead, he told Williams that Mississippi State was the team he hated playing the most — because of the cowbells at Davis Wade Stadium.

"Mississippi State," answered Clinton-Dix. "Because I hated those cowbells. They're so annoying. I know we didn't play them this year, but if we did, y'all would've heard it all week….so I would say Mississippi State is my least favorite stadium to play in."

I think every non-Mississippi State fan will agree that the cowbells are quite annoying. But hey, that's the goal. It gives the Bulldogs a unique home-field advantage.
