Alabama football is back in Tuscaloosa for a pivotal SEC showdown, and the stakes are high.

Ranked No. 11 nationally, the Crimson Tide will host No. 17 Vanderbilt at Bryant-Denny Stadium in a matchup that carries more emotional weight than usual. Last season, the Commodores stunned Alabama with a 40-35 upset in Nashville—marking their first win over the Tide since 1984 and their first-ever victory against an AP No. 1-ranked opponent.

Now, Alabama returns home not only looking to continue its strong start under head coach Kalen DeBoer but also to settle the score.

The Crimson Tide enters the game with a 3–1 record, fresh off a statement win over Georgia in Athens. Quarterback Ty Simpson has emerged as a reliable leader, throwing for over 1,100 yards and 11 touchdowns without a single interception through four games.
