The Alabama Crimson Tide have been uneven and surprisingly inconsistent on the field under Kalen DeBoer in Year 1, but the new head coach has done well off the field.
Even after stunningly losing to Oklahoma last week, the Tide added to its future pipeline with 2025 running back Jace Clarizio and 2027 playmaker Alexander Ward.
This weekend, with Auburn visiting for the Iron Bowl, DeBoer is looking to make one more big strike with visits. Here are the top names to look out for this recruiting weekend.
The Crimson Tide has recently gained momentum in their pursuit of 2025 4-Star wide receiver Derek Meadows, who is currently committed to LSU. At 6-foot-5 and 200 pounds, Meadows is a tall wideout with an impressive catch radius, allowing him to easily secure contested catches.
In the 2026 class, 4-Star cornerback Samari Matthews, weighing 180 pounds and standing at 6 feet tall, revealed his top eight schools this week. The Crimson Tide is among his contenders, alongside Clemson, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, Florida State, Penn State, and South Carolina.
Another standout in the 2026 class, 4-Star wide receiver Jabari Brady from Pompano Beach, Florida, included Alabama in his list of final schools.
He named a total of 10 schools on his shortlist, which features Alabama along with Texas A&M, Oregon, Miami, Missouri, Florida, Ohio State, LSU, Ole Miss, and Florida State.
