With just a bowl game left against Texas Tech, the same bowl game they played two years ago against Kansas, the Arkansas Razorbacks, and the rest of the country, have gotten an early start on the 2025 offseason with the transfer portal. Now, whether you would like to categorize that as a good start is completely up to you, but I wouldn't do that.

The Hogs have lost a ton of players this offseason, maybe the most in the SEC. And, alumni, former players, former coaches, and fans have all wondered all offseason, what is going wrong in Fayetteville. They are losing players left and right, whether it be Ole Miss taking them, or any other school that has more money to offer than the Hogs do. That's how it comes off anyway.

But, that would make too much sense. That would be the reason I would run with if I were Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman, because then it seems like it's something out of your hands, and it will feel like that would be a way to show the donors and NIL collective that you need more money to do more.

But, nope. Pittman seems to think it would be smarter to tell everyone that it's not the money, which comes off as it's a staff or program thing.

"We have money. Our donors have been very good financially to us. Revenue sharing coming up here in July. We have money. We're not losing these kids because we don't have money," Pittman said.

The Razorbacks aren't in a good space right now this offseason. Why would he say that? Even if it isn't because of money, just don't say anything at all, or hey, say it is because of money. If this school ever wants to get out of the depths of the mediocrity hell they are in, some changes need to be made.

And Sam Pittman, while everyone loves the man that he is, just isn't on the coaching side anymore. And, he's just giving fans more ammo to load the "fire Sam Pittman" weapon.
