The Arkansas Razorbacks went into Jordan-Hare Stadium, one of the toughest places to play in the country, and handled business. Really, it was one of the more dysfunctional games we have seen so far this year, but, they won, nonetheless. One of the biggest storylines coming out of this game was not the win, though, or the trolling afterward that the Razorbacks' social media team did.

Instead, the biggest storyline was the quarterback play. The chatter was kind of about both team's play at the position, as Taylen Green made some errors, but also some huge plays, too. Mainly, though, it was the other side that got the bulk of the hate. Hank Brown started this game for the Tigers, and what he said before the game only made his poor performance that much funnier.

Going into the game, the young QB shared his thoughts on the matchup against SEC rival, Arkansas Razorbacks.

"It's encouraging, but I think I have a lot to build on from this week. I love it when the competition level is raised, that's when I play my best. I'm excited for SEC play, and I'm excited to dominate Arkansas."

He did not in fact dominate Arkansas. In fact, he three three interceptions to Arkansas before halftime. Maybe his quote was misinterpreted. Maybe he meant he was ready to dominate for Arkansas because he certainly did that. He also helped T.J. Metcalf, the Alabama native who was looking for an Auburn offer in high school, out as well, as he had two interceptions and one forced fumble on the day.

After halftime, when the game resumed, Brown did not. Peyton Thorne ended up taking his spot. So, in other words, he was not ready for SEC play, and his game did not rise, because he was, well, benched.

After the game, his coach even called him out.

"I know that there are people open and I know that we're running the football," Hugh Freeze told the media. "We've got to find a guy that won't throw it to the other team and we've got to find running backs that hold on to it."

Yeah, Brown dominated. He found out what SEC football was about real quick.
