Fall camps have opened up all around the country, which means that the 2024 college football season is almost officially here. It is going to be a really intriguing season, the first that will utilize the new 12-team playoff format. Throw in the transfer portal, NIL and conference realignment, this is a potentially volatile fall in front of us.

One thing that should have college football fans excited most are the players we are going to root for every Saturday. With that, there are a long list of players who have the ability to terrify opponents this season. In order to highlight some of the most terrifying players in college football, I ranked them.

The list starts from No. 20 and works all the way down to one. For anyone who has missed any portion of the list, just click on the list below and it will take you to any of the individual breakdowns and background reports. As we got closer to one, the conversation became more and more difficult.
