Colorado and Nebraska will be receiving some prime-time treatment in Week 2 of the college football season.

The Huskers will host Colorado at 7:30 p.m. ET on Sept. 7, in what should be an electric environment in the game that will be televised on NBC and Peacock.

An exciting quarterback matchup between Shedeur Sanders and Dylan Raiola

Figuring that Raiola has the job as a freshman in Lincoln, the quarterback matchup in this one is going to be exciting. Raiola was the No. 2 quarterback in the class of 2023, according to 247 Sports, and should find success from Day 1 with the arm talent he possesses. A one-time Ohio State commit turned Georgia commit, who eventually ended up signing with Nebraska.

Sanders is the opposite of Raiola, he is projected to be one of the first quarterbacks chosen in the 2025 NFL Draft. After playing his first couple seasons at Jackson State, Sanders followed his father, Deion, to Colorado last season and played well. Sanders had a 27-3 touchdown to interception ratio and completed just under 70 percent of his passes for 3,230 yards.

Colorado will again be a team with a bunch of transfers that surround Sanders, including Ohio State running back Dallan Hayden. The Sanders father-son duo is a big reason why the Buffs will get the national TV treatment again in 2024.

Week 2 is going to bring fans the first opportunity to see Raiola on a national scale after all the hype with him coming into the college landscape. Now, can September get here already?
