Florida Gators secure visit with JaReylan McCoy

Napier is doing a really good job in bringing prospects in for visits and they have another one officially lined up for four-star defensive lineman JaReylan McCoy. The former LSU Tigers commit has five visits lined up with the Gators set to host him on on May 30th. McCoy's other visits are on both sides of his visit to Gainesville:

  • Auburn Tigers: May 16th
  • Ole Miss Rebels: June 6th
  • Texas Longhorns: June 13th
  • LSU Tigers: June 20th

After those visits, McCoy will be making a commitment shortly thereafter.

Florida is the latest to get McCoy on campus. He told On3’s Kieth Niebuhr after his trip to Gainesville that he’s locked in a commitment date for July 10, with the Gators and LSU among those standing out right now.

McCoy just spent the weekend in Gainesville on an unofficial visit and had a lot of really good things to say about his recruitment.

“I wouldn’t say it helped them. I’d say it helped me,” McCoy said Saturday. “Just with me being around them. Them inviting me to practice. I feel like me coming to see some of the best of the guys like Caleb Banks, Jeremiah McCloud—me seeing some of the best guys out here—I feel like it helped me seeing them actually live in action and seeing how the coaches coach. I just feel like it was a good thing to see.”

Securing a commitment from McCoy would be huge for the Gators' 2026 recruiting class, which now sits at just three commitments.
