The NFL Draft is fast approaching and the Florida Gators have some intriguing prospects available for teams to select in the seven-round event.
Head coach Billy Napier has done a great job in sending players to the National Football League over his three years with the Gators. This year, there are quite a few different prospects who could end up being selected this year, including a couple of former Gators in Georgia running back Trevor Etienne and Ole Miss edge rusher Princely Umanmielen.

130. Detroit Lions: Cam Jackson, DT, Florida
Nobody dealt with more injuries on the defensive side of the football last year than the Detroit Lions. The trenches were hit the hardest and they need to add some depth on the interior with Alim McNeill recovering from a torn ACL and Levi Onwuzurike on a one-year dea.
Jackson would provide a much-needed boost to the defensive line and give them a long-term nose tackle behind D.J. Reader.
209. Los Angeles Chargers: Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson, OT, Florida
The Gators have done a very good job in developing offensive linemen over the years and Crenshaw-Dickson is the latest to be drafted. He is a tall, powerful lineman who would fit in very well with the Chargers' gap/power scheme under Greg Roman. He has the potential to be a swing offensive lineman down the line.
210. Baltimore Ravens: Chimere Dike, WR, Florida
Dike is a fascinating player. Having transferred from Wisconsin, Dike played a multitude of roles for the Gators this past season, including being the number-one receiver for a short time. There is some potential to unlock at the wide receiver position with Dike, but at worst, he will be a good special teamer for years.
245. Washington Commanders: Elijah Badger, WR, Florida
The Gators have another receiver drafted in Badger, the second consecutive year an Arizona State transfer was drafted after being with the Gators. A traditional X-receiver, Badger would give the Commanders something they currently don't have on the roster, which would give him an opportunity to make the roster as a late seventh-round pick.
The above Gators all make sense to get drafted, but one player is missing. Why didn't linebacker Shemar James get drafted?
He was one of the best linebackers at the Senior Bowl and tested decent at the scouting combine. He should easily go on day three on the draft, so seeing him undrafted feels a little weird.
