Gaston is listed by 247 Sports at 6', 5" tall and 330 lbs with a projection to play on the interior of the offensive line. He ranks as the 24th-best offensive lineman and the seventh-best player in the state of South Carolina in the 2026 class.

In the 2024 season, Gaston played multiple spots on the offensive line, including both left guard and left tackle. He also participates in track and field in both the shot put and discus.

The Gators offered Gaston on January 29th, just a few days before he posted his final four schools. They are going after multiple top offensive lineman, including five-star offensive tackle Immanuel Iheanacho out of Maryland.
