While both Harrison Bailey and Aidan Warner had good performances, it wasn't there play that stood out. It was that of a true freshman who didn't commit until just before Christmas Day.

Dallas Wilson breaks out during Florida Gators Spring Game

The spring game is the culmination of spring practice, with returning players getting a chance to show how much they've grown. It also gives early enrollees the chance to prove what they have for the first time.

Five-star wide receiver Dallas Wilson took that to heart and gave an incredible performance across the board. He didn't just have a dymanite game, but rather set records. His 10 receptions are a record, while the 195 yards ties the record. Wilson also had two touchdowns to pair with those record-setting numbers, including this one where he gained a ton of separation.

The Gators were thrilled when they were able to land the Tampa Bay, Florida, product. He initially committed to and signed with the Oregon Ducks on the early signing day, but had a change of heart just two weeks later. The Ducks let him out of his letter of intent and he immediately signed with the Gators.

Wilson's performance shows a couple of things: the depth of the receiving room as it currently sits and the sky-high potential that Wilson has. Once Lagway comes back healthy, it's hard to imagine Wilson not getting significant playing time over the course of the season. He will need to prove he's worthy of playing time consistently with the likes of Eugene Wilson III, J. Michael Sturdivant, and Khaleil Jackson, but this is a great start.
