Seminoles are in a race with the best recruiting schools in the country for an elite 2027 recruit, and they have a huge advantage
The Florida State Seminoles could really use a player like T’ari Miller.
The Florida State Seminoles have used their momentum from winning games this year, and big ones like the one over the Alabama Crimson Tide, and put that into recruiting, just at the right time, too.
A team that won just two games last year is now near the top of the rankings, and they’re using that to their advantage. The Seminoles currently have the sixth-ranked 2027 class and are looking to make it even better by possibly snagging four-star defensive back T’ari Miller. It won’t be easy, as the Georgia Bulldogs, USC Trojans, Miami Hurricanes, and LSU Tigers are all playing huge roles. However, the Seminoles are leaving a mark with an advantage they have, being in-state.
“I’ve built a special bond with the coaches at Florida State. They call me every day. They send me stuff every day,” Miller told Rivals recently.
Seminoles could use T’ari Miller for their 2027 class
While the 2027 class is pretty good so far, there is still a lot of work to be done on the recruiting front. They only have four players committed, with two four stars and two guys that aren’t ranked yet, but will likely come in as three stars. They could use the highly rated guys in their class, which would only propel them higher than the sixth class.
Miller is 6’4″, 180 pounds, and was the outside cornerback at Homestead High School. Now, in 2025, he’s playing for powerhouse Miami Central after transferring, where he’s playing outside cornerback and some safety. The Seminoles could likely use him at both spots, because they do like long, fast corners.
However, they also like safeties who play the same way Miller plays that position. The good thing is, Miller is in the 2027 class and still has two years to develop into the player he will become in college.
With the Seminoles being in the run for Miller with some other big-time programs, losing out on him wouldn’t be too bad, though. Three of the Seminoles’ four players committed in the 2027 class are defensive backs. One is a safety and two are cornerbacks, with two of them being four stars.
Regardless, a team that was at the bottom of the barrel last season is back to competing with the big dogs in recruiting.
