Somehow, despite having their worst season since the 1970s, the Florida State Seminoles are in line to have a pretty good recruiting class for 2026. Now, is it top-10 or top-five, or anything crazy like that? No. You have to remember that this team just won two total games, and a lot of kids may not want to go to a school that just won two of 12 games.

But the Noles are staying strong, with a top-20 class pretty much across all recruiting sites. According to On3, the Noles have the 12th-best class for 2026, which puts them first in the ACC, one spot above the Miami Hurricanes.

And, with some recent news, that could only get better. But, first, they have to prove it on their next official visit with an elite 2026 quarterback.

Bowe Bentley is a highly regarded quarterback from Celina High School in Celina, Texas, part of the class of 2026. Rated as a four-star prospect, he took the Celina Bobcats to an undefeated 16-0 season, clinching the Texas Class 4A Division I state title.

During that season, he passed for 3,211 yards and 47 touchdowns, while throwing just seven interceptions. In the championship game against Kilgore, he had 265 passing yards and five touchdowns, which earned him the offensive MVP award.

His breakout junior year has caught the attention of numerous college programs. With his ideal build and impressive abilities, he’s considered one of the best at his position, ranked as high as No. 11 among quarterbacks nationwide and No. 28 overall in Texas. Oklahoma, LSU, Ohio State, Florida State, Texas Tech, and Georgia Tech have sent scholarship offers.

He’s lined up spring visits to Oklahoma, LSU, Ohio State, Florida State, and Georgia Tech, with FSU being on March 22. Landing a quarterback like him with the current state the Noles are in at the position, would be a huge win.
