It won't be long before we can stop guessing where former Georgia star tight end Brock Bowers is going in the 2024 NFL Draft.

But until then, we're having fun.

In A to Z Sports' latest NFL mock draft, Bowers heads to the New York Jets at No. 10 overall.

A to Z Sports cites New York's win-now mentality, their freshly built offensive line, and, of course, quarterback Aaron Rodgers as reasons why Bowers makes sense:

"I haven’t learned my lesson from last year, have I? With the top three wide receivers off the board and a newly built offensive line, Bowers gives the Jets a matchup nightmare and likely the best tight end Rodgers has had in his career. I thought about taking Fuaga here, but it’s hard to draft a guy 10th overall if you don’t have a spot for him to play immediately. The Jets are in win-now mode and Bowers gives them the immediate upgrade to their offense."Mike Antoniou

The Jets entered the offseason in the market for an offensive tackle and another receiving option.

However, they addressed their offensive line needs by signing left tackle Tyron Smith, left guard John Simpson and right tackle Morgan Moses in NFL free agency.

That leaves them still looking for another weapon for Rodgers.

In comes Bowers who compiled 2,538 receiving yards and 26 touchdowns and two national championships in three seasons with the Bulldogs. It's also worth mentioning that Bowers is not your typical tight end as he also has experience taking snaps (1,033) in the slot and as an outside receiver.

Bowers personally doesn't have a preference on where he ends up but he did say at the NFL Combine in February that it would be "pretty sweet' to join forces with one of the best quarterbacks in the league.

"It'd be pretty sweet," Bowers said. "He's one of the best all-time at quarterback. It'd be cool to learn under him, play with him and learn some stuff."

Sure, the Jets have an established starter at tight end with Tyler Conklin but Bowers is way more than just a tight end and there's nobody else that compares to him in this draft class.

He would be the elite dream target that Rodgers needs for his "welcome back" season.
