2026 four-star wide receiver Tyren Wortham committed to UCF last month, but a recent offer from the Georgia Bulldogs could have him reconsidering his decision.
Wortham, 6-foot/175 lbs from Sarasota, FL, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 59 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 56 player in the state of Florida.
According to Rivals.com national recruiting director Adam Gorney, it wouldn't be a "shock" if Wortham reopens his recruitment amid interest from the Bulldogs.
"Georgia offered Wortham four days after he committed to UCF and the Bulldogs have not backed off in recent months," wrote Gorney this week. "Wortham was back in Athens for the recent Scavenger Hunt and it wouldn’t be a shock if Wortham reviews his recruitment soon and possibly reopens things as Georgia pursues."
Wortham's recruiting ranking may not be overly impressive (at least when it comes to the type of prospect that Georgia typically targets), but he's a player that the Bulldogs are very high on.
"Georgia thinks very, very highly of this prospect's talent," noted 247Sports' Benjamin Wolk recently of UGA's pursuit of Wortham.
Wolk also pointed out that Wortham is expected to return to Athens for an official visit in June, along with his high school teammate, five-star cornerback Chauncey Kennon.
It's probably going to be tough for UCF to keep Wortham away from Georgia. Not many recruits are able to say no to a strong push from Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs.
