Georgia football pulled off another solid recruiting move for the class of 2025 on Monday afternoon after landing a commit from four-star safety Jaylan Morgan.
According to Hayes Fawcett at On3, Morgan chose the Bulldogs over Florida, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State.
His reasoning? Georgia has everything it takes to make him great.
"I chose Georgia because I wanted to be the best me possible, and that I have to be with the best and practice with the best," Morgan said, via the Daily News Journal. "Iron sharpens iron. I felt like Georgia gave me the best opportunity for that."
Tennessee, Alabama, Missouri and Vanderbilt, Colorado, Oklahoma, USC, TCU, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Purdue, Michigan State and Wisconsin were among other schools that had offers on the table for Morgan.
Morgan, a 6-foot, 180-pound safety from Murfreesboro, Tennessee is the sixth-ranked recruit in the state, the No. 269 overall player in the country and the No. 23 safety, per 247Sports.
As a junior, Morgan racked up 20 tackles (one for loss) during his junior season at Rockvale High School. He also saw action at cornerback and on offense at wide receiver. In addition to football, Morgan is a track star with his best time being an 11.77 second 100-meter run.
The Bulldogs now have 19 commitments for the class of 2025, still ranking No. 3 in the country.
