The Buffalo Bills traded their star wide receiver, Stefon Diggs, to the Houston Texans in a shocking blockbuster deal on Wednesday.

The trade comes just 22 days out from the 2024 NFL Draft, which means the Bills will be in the market for a wide receiver.

However, turns out that they might already know exactly which pass catcher they want to snag at No. 28 overall.

Georgia star receiver Ladd McConkey was on the Up & Adams show shortly after the Diggs news broke and admitted that he's met with the Bills more than once in the pre-draft process.

McConkey proceeded to share his reaction to the possibility of teaming up with Josh Allen in Buffalo following the Diggs trade:

"Yeah, I saw that. I've met with them a couple of times. Liked their organization, so let's go."

"Hey, that would be pretty sweet."

McConkey's Elite Speed Could Attract Buffalo

McConkey is widely considered a late first-round prospect after boosting his draft stock over the last few weeks at the Reese's Senior Bowl, NFL Combine and Georgia's Pro Day.

The 6-foot, 185-pound wideout ran an official 4.39-second 40-yard dash and 1.52-second 10-yard split at the combine.

Often overshadowed by Georgia's tight end Brock Bowers, McConkey still managed to rack up a solid career with the Bulldogs.

Through 29 career games at Georgia, McConkey reeled in 119 receptions for 1,687 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns.

He might not be the best receiver to replace Diggs in Buffalo, but his elite speed and ability to move the chains could be what draws the Bills in to select him in the first round.

"His ability to separate is probably one of those key things and in the NFL there's less touching," Georgia head coach Kirby Smart said of McConkey. "You're able to run routes and that's going to be advantageous for him because he can come in and out of breaks. They'll watch him on third down. He's pretty elite on third down and getting open and that keeps the chains moving."

You can find out where McConkey and several other Bulldogs end up when the draft kicks off on April 25.
