On Monday, 247Sports made game-by-game predictions for each SEC team in 2025 and they have the Georgia Bulldogs finishing with what should be a good enough record to make the College Football Playoff.

247Sports has Georgia going 10-2 during the regular season in 2025.

That prediction isn't much of a surprise. It's probably in line with most of the predictions we'll see for Georgia in 2025.

What's surprising, though, are the two games that 247Sports thinks Georgia will lose in 2025.

They have the Bulldogs losing on the road against Auburn and on the road against Georgia Tech.

From 247Sports: That's the thing with uber-talented teams against landmine-filled schedules in the SEC — you're bound to suffer a setback or two just because of the sheer amount of ranked opponents. With Gunner Stockton at quarterback and a litany of new starters on defense, perhaps the defending league champion battle their way back to Atlanta despite a couple (projected) losses on the road.

We'll see how it plays out, but it's worth noting that Georgia hasn't lost to Auburn since 2017 and they haven't lost to Georgia Tech since 2016 (though the Bulldogs certainly had a close call against the Yellow Jackets in 2024).

Georgia losing either of those games would be unexpected — especially since I think the Bulldogs will be extremely motivated in 2025 after a lackluster (by Georgia's standards) season in 2024.
