Can Kansas State's RB duo of D.J. Giddens and Dylan Edwards lead the Wildcats past Tulane?

It's also a new era for the Green Wave of Tulane. Willie Fritz took over at the University of Houston and Jon Sumrall takes over with a large project in front of him.

Two years ago, Tulane came into Manhattan and beat the Wildcats by a score of 17-10. It's a much different team for the Green Wave, who won't have Michael Pratt to lead them. There is a lot different for this Tulane team, as many players and coaches left to go to Houston with Willie Fritz or for other programs.
The Green Wave played three quarterbacks on Saturday in a 52-0 win over SE Louisiana State but Darian Mensah is the starter. He established himself in the game, but will he be good enough against the Wildcats?
Avery Johnson got his first regular season start on Saturday in a 41-6 win over Tennessee-Martin. It was a relatively rocky one through the air for Johnson, who only threw for 153 yards and ran for 37. He didn't feel comfortable under center like you might have thought. What did work out well for the Wildcats was the running game.
The two-headed monster of DJ Giddens and Dylan Edwards is going to be a powerhouse for the Wildcats. They ran for 124 yards and 43 yards respectively but gashed the defense consistently. Edwards also ran and caught a touchdown.
This game is going to be interesting to see how much more confidence that Johnson has compared to his first start this year. They believe in his abilities as a dual-threat and he's flashed brilliance. This is a good game to do so, as Tulane is primed to show struggles this season.
Bet: Kansas State -9 (-108)
