LSU head coach Brian Kelly shared encouraging news today, confirming that center Braelin Moore will return for the No. 3 Tigers’ primetime clash against the Florida Gators this Saturday at Tiger Stadium. Moore’s comeback is a major lift for an LSU squad dealing with multiple injury concerns this week.

As a redshirt sophomore, Moore serves as the cornerstone of an LSU offensive line that has struggled to find its rhythm with five new starters this season. Kelly noted that Moore was back to taking full first-team snaps during Thursday’s practice, signaling his readiness for the upcoming game.

During a press conference on Thursday, Kelly confirmed that Moore, a pivotal piece of the Tigers’ offensive line, has progressed well in overcoming an ankle injury that sidelined him in recent practices. “Braelin’s good to go,” Kelly stated. “He’s been working hard in rehab, and our medical team has cleared him. His presence is huge for us, especially against a tough Florida front.”

On the other hand, tight end Trey’Dez Green’s status remains uncertain. Green, who sprained his MCL in LSU’s recent victory over Louisiana Tech, is listed as questionable. While he was able to practice on Thursday, Kelly indicated that Green’s participation will likely be a game-time decision.

“He’s not where we need him to be today but we still have some time,” Kelly noted about Green.

At tight end, Bauer Sharp is expected to see increased targets in Green’s potential absence. Green’s size made him a key red-zone threat, notably in LSU’s bowl victory over Baylor and throughout the first two weeks of the 2025 season. Without him, LSU’s offense may face challenges in the red zone against Florida.

The LSU-Florida matchup is scheduled to kick off at 6:45 p.m. on Saturday and will be broadcast live on ABC.
