The LSU Tigers have been on fire when it comes to recruiting. They currently rank second in the nation and first in the SEC when it comes to On3 Sports' recruiting rankings. Head coach Brian Kelly has taking his recruiting game to a new level after the Bryce Underwood debacle.
Kelly currently has two five-star recruits committed to LSU in wide receiver Tristen Keys and defensive lineman Richard Anderson. They are continuing to recruit hard to improve the roster and continue to get good news.
LSU Tigers given expert prediction to land talented defender
The defensive line has been a focus for the Tigers in recruiting with the hopes of building around Anderson. On3 Sports' Steve Wiltfong logged an expert prediction to land high high-three-star defensive lineman JJ Finch.
It's the latest example of Kelly coming in later on a player and making a major impact in their process. Right now, the Tigers are in a great place to land Indianapolis, Indiana product who is the 45th-ranked defensive lineman in the nation and the second-ranked recruit in Indiana.
The Tigers have a great chance to continue making an impact on Finch with an official visit on June 6th. Alabama gets the first one on May 30th with Tennessee following on June 13th.
If Kelly can give a really good hard sell, Finch could become the 11th commitment in the 2026 class.
