Five-star LSU Tigers commit, Lamar Brown, is one of the prized pieces to their 2026 high school recruiting class. Brian Kelly landed a huge fish in Brown, who is lauded as one of the top recruits in the entire country. Brown chose LSU over schools like Texas A&M, Miami, and Texas.
“They didn’t take it lightly,” Brown said of his late-June visit with LSU. “They laid everything on the table for me about what it’s like to be a Tiger, being there as a player for three or four years, but also in life after football. Staying home, all the resources and branding I can build for myself here, that made a lot of sense for me.” — ESPN
Now, Brown is warning other teams around college football regarding the long-term reality of their current commitments in the 2026 class.

Deuce Geralds, a four-star defensive lineman, is the latest HS addition for the Tigers’ 2026 class. LSU beat out fellow SEC foe Ole Miss to land Geralds.
Only time will tell what else LSU will do to complete their 2026 class. They’ve set themselves up to continue producing elite talent across their roster. Finding success in the SEC and on a national scale this season could only catapult them further on the recruiting trail, too.
