The Gators will continue to miss freshman standout Dallas Wilson as the wide receiver recovers from a lower-leg injury sustained during training camp. Hailing from Tampa and a product of Tampa Bay Tech High School, Wilson was a prized 4-star recruit, according to 247 Sports’ composite rankings.

Wilson’s 6-foot-3 frame made waves in Florida’s spring game, where he broke a program record with 10 receptions, scored two touchdowns, and tied the Gators’ single-game mark with 195 receiving yards.
On a brighter note for coach Billy Napier and the Gators, defensive tackle Caleb Banks is poised to make his season debut against LSU, as he’s absent from the latest injury report. Banks, who also missed fall camp and the first two games due to a lower-leg injury, will bolster the Gators’ defensive line with his imposing 6-foot-6, 330-pound presence.
A transfer from Louisville, the Detroit native has been a force in Gainesville, recording 21 tackles and 4.5 sacks across the 2023 and 2024 seasons.
