Eagles making intriguing hire from LSU program

According to reports, the Philadelphia Eagles are plucking away LSU Director Of Player Personnel Preston Tiffany from the college ranks. The Super Bowl champions clearly have had their eye on him for some time.

Tiffany has a lot of experience in the SEC. Even as a young staff member, he was quite well-respected around the Tigers program, and they'll now have a tall task in replacing him.

Before Ole Miss, Tiffany worked as a student assistant in recruiting and player personnel at South Carolina from 2018-20. He earned a degree in economics and finance from South Carolina in 2020. He also earned a master of Business Administration from Ole Miss in 2021. — Sports Illustrated

Tiffany's specific role with Philly has not been announced yet. Expect the Eagles to announce the finalization of this move, and possibly others, in the coming days. Their front office is going through a small shake-up following an incredibly successful 2024 campaign.

We will see how LSU navigates their latest challenge when it comes to personnel.

With plenty of changes coming around college athletics, expect them to work briskly to find Tiffany's replacement in some capacity.
