The Tigers are on the hunt. LSU is actively seeking some major upgrades at the wide receiver position. They will lose some talent there to the 2025 NFL Draft, and they're trying to prepare their WR room for the return of QB Garrett Nussmeier next season.

LSU trending for Barion Brown
According to multiple insiders from On3Sports, the Tigers are the favorites to land WR Barion Brown. Brown is a speedster with NFL upside and special teams ability, on top of his offensive abilities.
Brown is a former On3 Freshman All-American and has 122 career receptions for 1,528 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns in his 37 career games at Kentucky. The 6-foot-1, 182-pound junior was a Preseason First Team All-America selection entering 2024 but finished with a career-low 29 catches for 361 yards and three touchdowns. — Pete Nakos
The talent is quite clear for the veteran receiver. Kentucky's pass game was one of the worst in the SEC, though. Quarterback play was inconsistent, and they rarely put up impressive showings as a whole.
For LSU, Brown makes plenty of sense to add for next season. Nussmeier proved in 2024 that he is not afraid to push the ball downfield. Not to mention, Brown is one of the best returners in all of college football.
Be on the lookout for an official decision from Brown soon. If he chooses LSU, he will not play against his former team next season since Kentucky is not on the schedule for the Bayou Bengals.

The Tigers were outmanned and overwhelmed in every phase of the game. Even though it was far from one player's fault, the most obvious struggles came from […]
