The Michigan Wolverines could be in danger of losing a key 2026 four-star commit to an ACC program.
2026 four-star cornerback Brody Jennings has been committed to the Wolverines since last July, but the Miami Hurricanes are reportedly making a strong run at the talented recruit.
Rivals.com national recruiting director Adam Gorney noted this week that Jennings remains "happily committed" to Michigan, but he also "loved" his recent visit to Miami.
"He was at Miami over the weekend and loved it there," wrote Gorney. "Jennings remains happily committed to Michigan but he thinks 'The old U is back' and the message from the coaching staff was that he 'belongs in Miami.' It’s a compelling case that Jennings will have to consider."
Jennings, who also recently visited the Florida Gators, is from Jacksonville, FL, so the interest in Miami should certainly concern Michigan fans. For now, it appears that Jennings is still firm in his commitment to Michigan. But there's still a long way to go in this recruiting battle.
The key for the Wolverines will be finding a way to keep Jennings committed through his official visits this summer.
Jennings, 6-foot-1/175 lbs, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 23 cornerback in the nation and the No. 40 player in the state of Florida. He's also rated as the No. 269 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.
Michigan currently has just three players committed to its 2026 recruiting class. Jennings is the Wolverines' highest rated commit.
