The world is ready for College Football 25 to be here, and EA Sports continues to drop teaser trailers for its release. In one week, players will get early access to a game many have waited 11 years to play. On Monday, Michigan Wolverines star running back Donovan Edwards faced off against YouTuber Bordeaux to highlight how head-to-head matchups play.
While the game itself looked fantastic, Edwards stole the show with his personality.
Donovan Edwards Destroys Bordeaux in College Football 25
In a 21-minute video shared by the EA Sports College YouTube account, Edwards took on Bordeaux in a handful of games. Edwards used Michigan in each contest, while Bordeaux controlled Texas and Penn State. While Edwards won 21-14 in the first game, he destroyed the Nittany Lions 56-21.
There were a ton of highlights to pick out from the game, including the crowd noise, smooth player movements, the immersion, and the introduction of new passing mechanics. I can't wait to get my dynasty started, personally. It'll be fun to build a road-grading team based on how well Edwards ran the ball with himself.
Edwards' huge celebrations as he continued to create interceptions and score touchdowns really stole the show, though. He was as passionate as expected from a high-end athlete coming off a national title win. While Edwards' ratings are surprisingly high for someone who struggled in 2023, his athletic traits and upside are massive.
Among his best moments were baiting Bordeaux into several contested catch windows with user-controlled defenders. A couple of interceptions were forced this way, and Edwards also added a fumble returned for a touchdown against Penn State.
Even as someone who is far from a Michigan fan, Edwards was incredibly likable and funny. This game will be awesome, and fans of Michigan, competition, and College Football 25 must watch the feature.
