National Signing Day is over, and the Michigan Wolverines ended off their 2025 recruiting class with a bang, officially flipping four-star offensive tackle Ty Haywood, who was originally committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Michigan ended the season with the sixth overall recruiting class in the 2025 cycle, raking in a sizable haul of 24 different recruits.

Here's the overall class that the Wolverines secured this offseason (rankings courtesy of 247Sports):

  • Five-star QB Bryce Underwood
  • Five-star OT Andrew Babalola
  • Four-star OT Ty Haywood
  • Four-star CB Shamari Earls
  • Four-star WR Andrew Marsh
  • Four-star DL Nathaniel Marshall
  • Four-star SAF Elijah Dotson
  • Four-star CB Jayden Sanders
  • Four-star SAF Kainoa Winston
  • Four-star LB Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng
  • Four-star OT Avery Gach
  • Four-star SAF Jordan Young
  • Three-star EDGE Julius Holly
  • Three-star LB Chase Taylor
  • Three-star WR Jamar Browder
  • Three-star IOL Kaden Strayhorn
  • Three-star RB Donovan Johnson
  • Three-star TE Eli Owens
  • Three-star DL Travis Moten
  • Three-star DL Bobby Kanka
  • Three-star WR Jacob Washington
  • Three-star DL Benny Patterson
  • Three-star RB Jasper Parker
  • Three-star QB Chase Herbstreit

While Michigan wasn't quite as active in the transfer portal as they were in their 2025 recruiting, they still pulled in a decent haul of transfers who should make an immediate impact for the team in 2025.

Here are the incoming transfers for the Michigan Wolverines:

  • QB Mikey Keene (Fresno State)
  • RB Justice Haynes (Alabama)
  • WR Anthony Simpson (UMass)
  • WR Donaven McCulley (Indiana)
  • IOL Brady Norton (Cal Poly)
  • IOL Lawrence Hattar (Ferris State)
  • DL Damon Payne (Alabama)
  • DL Tre Williams (Clemson)
  • LB Troy Bowles (Georgia)
  • CB Caleb Anderson (Louisiana)
  • SAF TJ Metcalf (Arkansas)
  • SAF Tevis Metcalf (Arkansas)

Obviously, all eyes will be on the two quarterbacks in Mikey Keene and Bryce Underwood, but I'm keeping an eye on who all emerges on the offensive line out of this class for the Wolverines.

The offensive line was a disappointment for most of last season and their best players all graduated and are off to the NFL. How the future of this group solidifies will be key to ensuring Bryce Underwood can reach his full potential in Ann Arbor.
