Class of 2025 linebacker prospect Noah Knigga out of Lawrenceburg High School in Indiana has garnered a steady amount of attention from programs across the nation as one of the biggest risers within his home state.
The 3-star prospect has been in communication with the likes of West Virginia, Duke, Miami (Ohio), Cincinnati and Air Force, among others.
Knigga told us Saturday after he visited Arkansas State that the program, Navy and Eastern Michigan were "probably the ones I'm looking at most right now."
Knigga was limited on the field in 2023, playing only six games due to injury issues. He was still named a Junior All-State Team selection at the 3A level in Indiana for his accomplishments, though.
Over three seasons, the 6-foot-2, 208-;pounder has recorded 207 tackles, including 42 tackles for loss and 14 sacks.
Knigga, according to 247Sports, currently holds offers from Gardner-Webb, Lindenwood University, Air Force, Arkansas State, Army, Indiana State, Navy and Southeast Missouri State.
The most recent of those offers was from Gardner-Webb, made official on March 23.
Knigga has also received heavy interest from — but without an offer extended — from WVU, Miami (Ohio) and WVU.
"I would say in the top two for sure. It’s a great place to be," Knigga said of WVU shortly after he went viral for his unique last name back in January. "All the people are amazing and really make it feel like home. Got to see all the facilities and campus was neat. Made a lot of good connections. They know how to coach the game of football and are great people when it comes to life."
Where Knigga ultimately lands as he prepares to take the next step in his football career will be something to keep an eye on moving forward.
