After a tough two-game slate to begin the 2025 college football season, Notre Dame football was able to win the last two weeks against the Purdue Boilermakers and the Arkansas Razorbacks. The Fighting Irish now head into a very unique challenge this weekend when they welcome Spencer Danielson and the Boise State Broncos to South Bend. A playoff team from a year ago, Boise State does not quite look like the same squad last season, but they are still a formidable opponent.

This game will probably be viewed by some as an underrated matchup, but not the most appealing game of the week. As always, however, Notre Dame football is going to attract a lot of eyeballs. Here is how to watch, stream, and listen to the game this weekend. Let’s hope it is an entertaining one, but the Fighting Irish come out on top in the end.

On offense, this game for Notre Dame is going to be about maintaining the momentum from the last two weeks. Redshirt freshman quarterback CJ Carr has been playing on a very high level, and the national media is starting to pay closer attention. Utilizing running backs Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price will once again be crucial in the running game. You also must get the football out of Carr’s hand to attack with the likes of Jordan Faison and Malachi Fields.

For the defense, Boise State is going to try to come out and run the football with the trio of Dylan Riley, Sire Gaines, and Malik Sherrod. Their offense will also try to get their quarterback, Maddux Madsen, comfortable as well. This could be the perfect game to find some pass rushing compliments to go along with star defensive end Boubacar Traore.
