We have a defensive struggle in College Station, with both Notre Dame and Texas A&M trading field goals deep into the third quarter. Both offenses were stagnant, searching for a big play. The Irish finally got it from redshirt sophomore running back Jadarian Price, who evaded star Aggie linebacker Taurean York and exploded 47 yards for a touchdown.

Price is a valuable member of what should be a very strong running attack for Notre Dame in 2024, along with sophomore weapon Jeremiyah Love. During the 2023 season, Price made his impact felt in limited opportunities. As a runner, Price rushed for 272 yards and three touchdowns, averaging an impressive 5.8 yards per carry on the year. He added another 65 yards and another score on five receptions out of the backfield.

That wasn't all of Price's impact, who was also the team's top kick returner. Price averaged 34.4 yards per return, while taking another kick back for a touchdown. His speed was on display as a runner, receiver, and kick returner last season.

With Audric Estime off to the NFL, expect Price to get a lot more opportunities during the course of the season. That long run against the Aggies was just a taste of things to come.
