Each of the last two weekends, Ohio State has landed a commitment each time they’ve hosted a number of official visitors.

This weekend marks another weekend full of visitors creeping into Columbus and checking out what the Buckeyes have to offer.

Ohio State will have two notable current commits on campus this weekend with offensive tackle Carter Lowe and defense end London Merritt scheduled to take visits. Additionally, Columbus will welcome some other notable prospects.

Official visits taking place for Ohio State on the June 14. weekend

RB Isaiah West, four-star

If Ohio State is going to get a commitment for three straight weekends, my money would be on that guy being West. Ohio State did not offer West until May, but he has been trending their way since then. Ohio State is more than familiar with recruiting from St. Joseph’s in Philadelphia and West could be the next guy to land in Columbus from there. The Buckeyes are taking three running backs this class and Bo Jackson is already in.

OT Josh Petty, five-star

Ohio State is one of a few schools in the mix for Petty, who comes from Georgia. Tennessee, Florida State, and Stanford are other schools in the mix. With Lowe already committed, adding another top-end recruit at the position like Petty would be huge.

LB Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng, four-star

The only linebacker visiting this weekend is Owusu-Boateng and James Laurinaitis will give him his full attention. Suspected to be a Notre Dame lean, where his brother Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah starred, this one could be a tough pull for the Buckeyes but they have a chance.

OT Micah DeBose, four-star

DeBose is originally from Ohio but now attends school down in Alabama. The Crimson Tide, LSU, and Florida are contenders along with the Buckeyes.

DE Mariyon Dye, four-star

The Indiana native is one that the Buckeyes have a great chance to land in the class of 2025. Michigan, Tennessee, and Florida State are also after Dye.

WR Phillip Bell, four-star

Bell will make the trip from California and is one of several wideouts that Ohio State is interested in. The Buckeyes are still recruiting the top wideouts like Dakorien Moore and Jaime Ffrench, but hope to add four at the position in this class.
