Things are shaping up nicely for Ohio State football’s 2025 recruiting class and today was another example of that.

247 Sports’ Steve Wiltfong has placed a Crystal Ball in for 2025 WR Jaime Ffrench out of Jacksonville Mandarin. The Buckeyes now control a 60/40 edge on the projections, per 247.

Ffrench de-committed from Alanna in January and decided to open his recruitment after the departure of head coach Nick Saban with the Crimson Tide. Ffrench is a 6-foot-1, 185-pounder that is a five-star prospect, per 247

Last cycle it was Jeremiah Smith who was the prized possession for the Buckeyes and another one of the elite wideout talents that Ohio State has landed. FFrench will visit Columbus on March 30.

Since his de-commitment, Ffrench has picked up offers from USC, Florida State, and Texas. The expectation is that multiple schools will attempt to challenge the Buckeyes for the elite player.

Jayvan Boggs is the only wideout committed in the class of 2025 currently for Ohio State and he is a four-star prospect out of Cocoa, Florida. Ohio State already has their quarterback for the class in Tavien St. Clair.

Ffrench is a top priority for Ohio State in this class and was visited by Brian Hartline and Ryan Day a couple of months ago. At this time there is no word on will his commitment will happen, but the Buckeyes look to be in a good place.
