Another big recurring weekend is on tap for the Ohio State Buckeyes as they’ll welcome in multiple verbal commits, as well as some players they hope to land.

The brother of NFL linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah will be taking his official visit to Columbus this weekend.

Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng is a four-star linebacker from IMG Academy who is ranked the No. 75 overall player in the class of 2025 and the No. 9 linebacker.

The Buckeyes are competing against Notre Dame, Michigan, and USC to land the talented linebacker who originally hails from the DMV area. At this point in his recruitment, the four-star linebacker is thought to be a lean to the Fighting Irish is the belief. It is notable that Cleveland Browns linebacker Owusu-Koramoah was an All-American at Notre Dame.

Ohio State is getting the third official visit for Owusu-Boateng, who visited USC on May 31, and then the Fighting Irish on June 7. Next weekend after his official to Columbus, the talented linebacker will visit Michigan.

Owusu-Boateng is an athletic 6-foot linebacker that weighs in at 200 pounds. You can read a bit of his scouting report below, via 247 Sports’ Andrew Ivins.

Speed-and-space linebacker that can hawk down ball carriers and spy quarterbacks. Tips the scales at just over 6 feet, 200 pounds, and appears to still have some growth potential with his lean, muscular build. Started prep career off in the DMV before arriving at IMG Academy where he emerged as a team leader in advance of senior season. At his best in chase mode, but has shown over the years that he’s willing to attack blockers or play around them. Tends to strike opponents when the opportunity presents itself. Has proven to be rather effective against the pass as he’s athletic and agile enough to mirror tight ends underneath or down the seam. Should be viewed as a potential impact player at the Power Four level. Might lack the payload at this stage to hold up against a true down-hill run game, but the sideline-to-sideline range could lead to plenty of success on Saturdays.

Ohio State currently has the No. 5 linebacker committed in Tarvos Alford. Additionally, Eli Lee is an Ohio kid who plays at Akron Hoban and is a four-star commitment. The Buckeyes will add multiple linebackers in this class and being able to add another top-10 player at the position would be huge. However, it won’t be easy as Notre Dame is pushing hard to land another Owusu.
