Boom.

Brian Hartline has once again done it at Ohio State, the standout offensive assistant is bringing in another haul at the wide receiver position for the 2026 class. Ohio State just got what should be their final wide receiver commit for the class.

Even sweeter about the commitment, the Buckeyes beat out Big Ten foe Oregon Ducks for a big-time player that they could have very well had.

Four-star WR Kayden Dixon-Wyatt commits to Ohio State

“If you want to be an elite receiver, you go to Ohio State,” Dixon-Wyatt said after committing to Ohio State on Sunday afternoon.

Ohio State has landed the No. 15 wide receiver in the country and the No. 107 player in the class by bringing in Dixon-Wyatt. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound wideout is the high school teammate of five-star Ohio State verbal commitment Chris Henry Jr. at Mater Dei in California.

Oregon was seen as the favorite in this recruitment as of late. Ohio State has now put Dixon-Wyatt with Henry Jr., Jaeden Ricketts, and Brock Boyd. Ricketts is an Ohio recruit and the Buckeyes flipped Boyd from TCU last month. Ohio State’s other competition in this recruitment was the USC Trojans. Ohio State has hosted Dixon-Wyatt for multiple visits since they offered him last March and he will take an official visit to Columbus at the end of this month.

The Buckeyes are now up to commitment No. 12 in their recurring haul for 2026 and are bound to finish with a top-5 class once again. Landing their latest potential future star comes with the added bonus of keeping him away from Oregon.
