Eight Buckeyes Selected in 2025 NFL Mock Draft

Emeka Egbuka joins Chris Olave in New Orleans

May starts this mock with a fire take, pitting Egbuka in New Orleans with the 10th overall pick. This is definitely earlier than what we're used to seeing, but the reasoning makes sense. The Saints need playmaking, and missing out on the top quarterbacks will put them in a tough spot if other receivers are off the board.

Washington rolls dice on Josh Simmons

The tackle spots in Washington are not good, so helping Jayden Daniels is paramount. Landing Simmons allows Washington to move Brandon Coleman to guard or right tackle. Simmons is a fantastic pass-blocker but is coming off a torn ACL.

Saints add another Buckeye in Tyleik Williams

This is the perfect landing spot for both the Saints and Tyleik Williams. Getting the 320-pounder in the second-round feels right. He's a three-down defender with pass-rushing chops and versatility. The Saints have to continue investing into the trenches.

Donovan Jackson reunites with CJ Stroud

The Texans whiffed on Kenyon Green, and Donovan Jackson is a similar-level developmental project despite his athletic traits and experience. But in the Day 2 range, it's more palatable to take that risk. He's a competitive player and probably improves with NFL-level coaching.

Quinshon Judkins becomes Sean Payton's new favorite

This is my favorite mix of blend and landing spot. The Broncos have a terrible backfield right now, so Quinshon Judkins would be Sean Payton's next Alvin Kamara. Judkins has similar contact balance and acceleration through small spaces.

Jack Sawyer joins Josh Simmons

Washington might be a bit jaded by Ohio State pass-rushers after Chase Young flamed out, but taking Jack Sawyer in Round 2 is a much lower risk. Sawyer is an athletic presence who is excellent in run defense. I don't know if he'll produce more than six sacks on his own, but Dan Quinn can use young defenders.

JTT heads to Chicago in third round

The Bears certainly need more athleticism on the edge, but is JT Tuimoloau actually an answer? I recognize I'm lower on JTT than most, but this value is better than putting him in the second round. He's ready for a rotational role Day 1, but I don't see starting potential.

Cleveland selects TreVeyon Henderson

This has become a bit of a popular chalk pick at the end of Day 2 of our mocks. Cleveland is in need of running back help, but taking one higher than 93rd overall is a tough sell in this class. Henderson has been Ohio State's best back this season, and would be a tremendous addition to an offense lacking punch.
