For well over a year now, Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr. has been a virtual lock to be the top wideout selected in the 2024 NFL Draft.

That may no longer be the case as multiple teams around the league do not have him as the top wide receiver. Instead, LSU’s Malik Nabers is that guy to some. Another terrific talent that is alike with Harrison with the fact that he would be the top wideout in most drafts.

Harrison opted out of the NFL Combine outside of going through the medical checks and talking to some teams. Not working out didn’t help his stock, but it wasn’t believed to be a necessity with how Harrison is viewed by the league.

Nabers is a terrific talent who racked up nearly 2,600 receiving yards over his final two seasons with LSU. Nabers played in a more explosive passing attack with the Tigers led by first-round QB prospect Jayden Daniels.

The top three picks are expected to be a quarterback and the fourth pick with the Arizona Cardinals is believed to be the landing spot for the first wide receiver taken.

It is nearing the draft after all and a lot of smoke is coming out left and right. With just over a month to go until the draft, it’ll be interesting to see if teams hold on to Harrison as the top guy, or if Nabers does indeed make that jump.
