The Ohio State Buckeyes could be in danger of missing out on one of their top 2026 offensive line recruiting targets.

Rivals.com national recruiting analyst John Garcia Jr predicted on Monday that 2026 four-star offensive lineman Da'Ron Parks will commit to the Auburn Tigers over Ohio State.

"Ohio State and Penn State would love to get him (Parks) back to the Northeast, but there is clear buzz with the Auburn Tigers at this time," wrote Garcia. "He has already locked in the May 30 official visit to kick off a slate that will lead to a July decision in all likelihood. AU could be setting the pace not only with the trips, but with the recruitment as a whole."

Parks, 6-foot-5/282 lbs from Sarasota, FL, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 17 interior offensive lineman in the nation and the No. 38 player in the state of Florida.

The coveted offensive lineman will take an official visit to Ohio State later this summer, so this recruiting battle is far from over.

Ohio State, by the way, offered Parks early in the process, something that should help the Buckeyes as this recruiting battle continues to unfold.

Several other programs — such as the Miami Hurricanes, Penn State Nittany Lions, and Kentucky Wildcats — are also in the mix for the talented offensive lineman.

Parks and his family are originally from West Virginia, so there's certainly a chance that geography could be a factor in the four-star recruit's final decision. If that ends up being the case, that will likely benefit Ohio State.

The Buckeyes currently have four players committed to their 2026 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 8 in the nation.
