At long last, it is finally rivalry week for Ohio State and they will host Michigan on Saturday, where the Buckeyes look to pick up their first win over the Wolverines in their last three tries.

Ohio State comes into the game at 10-1 on the season and ranked No. 2 in the country. The Buckeyes are coming off of an impressive showing, where they beat No. 5 Indiana 38-15 to keep their Big Ten title hopes alive.

After losing to Michigan the last three times out, oddsmakers are showing little worry of that being the case this time. In fact, FanDuel has Ohio State listed as a -20.5 favorite to beat Michigan. Ohio State is expected to roll by three scores. The over/under for the game is set at 43.5.

Ohio State and Ryan Day badly need this win over Michigan with how the last three years have gone. Michigan is 6-5 this season and things have been really disappointing following their National Championship last season. Still, anytime that these teams match up the records don’t matter a whole lot. The rivalry is typically close no matter what. This game just means too much to both sides.

With a win, Ohio State would turn their focus to playing Oregon again. This time a Big Ten championship would be on the line and the stakes would be a lot higher.

Last season, Michigan held on to bear Ohio State 30-24 before their national title run. Ohio State hopes that the tables are turned this year and that it is their chance to do just that. However, the College Football Playoff setup is much different this year than last with 12 teams.
