Ohio State has wrapped up most of its 2025 recruiting class with a couple possible last-minute additions still possible. National Signing Day is a thing of the past for the most part with early signing set to happen before long.
The Buckeyes are still in search of a third cornerback for this class and it looks like they could be making a flip to address it. Ohio State offered three-star Cincinnati commit Jordyn Brooks on Nov. 3. Brooks is from Georgia and has been committed to the Bearcats since June.
Brooks is a 6-foot-3 cornerback who attends Cartersville High School down in. The talented prospect has offers from Michigan State, Virginia, and Boston College as well.
Ohio State is set to bring in two five-star cornerbacks Devin Sanchez and Na’eem Offord. The third cornerback spot is one where the Buckeyes could look to bring in a longer developmental player like Brooks. The Buckeyes brought in Aaron Scott and Bryce West last class, so depth isn’t a real issue right now.
The Buckeyes have multiple seniors who could be off to the NFL after the season unless they have a redshirt to use. Denzel Burke, Davison Igbinosun, and Jordan Hancock very well could all be gone from that room next season.
Ohio State has a whole lot more to offer than Cincinnati and this recruitment should be one to watch. The Buckeyes don’t offer a ton of three-star prospects, so they obviously see a lot of potential in Brooks.
