Ohio State is set to have a high number of players drafted in the 2025 NFL Draft later this month. The Buckeyes have a chance to challenge the 15 players that Georgia had drafted in 2022, which is the highest number ever from one team.
The Buckeyes are going to be well-represented thanks to the high number of draft-eligible players that opted to return. Pair that with the transfer additions and the Buckeyes are going to have a bunch of new representatives in the pros.
One player that is set to be drafted early on will be RB Quinshon Judkins and he is making the jump after just one year with the Buckeyes. The former Ole Miss transfer’s one season in Columbus ended with a National Championship.
Ohio State RB Quinshon Judkins is set to visit both Ohio NFL teams
Judkins is going to have a busy upcoming week or two, as he is set to visit with five NFL teams. The Ohio State product is going to visit both the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns. He will also pay visits to the Houston Texans, Denver Broncos, and New York Giants. Judkins has already visited with the Dallas Cowboys as well.
The Ohio State running back posted a 4.48 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine and that was a great mark for him that caught a lot of attention. Judkins is a powerful running back who loves to run through defenders but also offers shiftiness.
Judkins went for 1,060 yards in his one season at Ohio State while splitting touches with TreVeyon Henderson, who also went over 1,000 yards. The big positive for Judkins is that he is a complete running back who can stay on the field for three downs.
Cleveland currently has Jerome Ford as their starting running back and could use an upgrade there to allow for him to be the second back. Cincinnati needs more depth behind Chase Brown after his breakout season last year.
Both Ohio teams are showing interest in the Ohio State running back and that is going to sit well with Buckeye Nation, who often root for one of the Ohio teams.
