The Texas Longhorns blew the Michigan Wolverines out in The Big House, winning 31-12. The third-ranked Longhorns took a commanding 24-3 lead by halftime and never looked back. Quarterback Quinn Ewers was the star of the show, totaling 246 yards and three touchdowns without breaking much of a sweat.

So much for worrying about the defending national champions. After the game, Ewers let Ohio State fans he's still thinking about them. And, best yet for Buckeye fans, he's happy to have helped his former team.

Why Did Quinn Ewers Leave Ohio State?

He decided to forgo his final year at Southlake Carroll, managing to reclassify and join the Ohio State 2021 recruiting class earlier. By reclassifying, he emerged as the leading player in the class. Nonetheless, he cited feelings of homesickness as the reason behind his decision to transfer, being originally from Texas.
