It's no secret the Oklahoma Sooners had one of the worst offenses in the entire country this last season. And, as we continue to harp on it and talk about it because it was a huge reason they were as bad as they were, at least the Sooners are trying to fix their issues. The issues stem from the offensive line not playing great, the quarterbacks not playing well, every position group on the offensive side of the ball getting injured, and the depth at those positions not performing well.
It went about as bad as it could have. Now they have a chance to make sure it doesn't happen again. The Sooners have brought in a new offensive coordinator in Ben Arbuckle, one of the best quarterbacks in the country, and a pretty good recruiting class. Now we will wait to see how 2025 goes on that side of the ball.
But, they need to keep pushing, they have to do the same for the 2026 class and the ones after that. To make sure they are bringing in pieces that make the offense sustainably good.
So far the Sooners have sent out some offers to some of the best wide receivers and other position players in the 2026 class. Soon, they will get a chance to show one of the most coveted wide receivers in the 2026 class why he should go to Oklahoma.
Sooners lock in official visit with 2026 WR Aljour Miles
Aljour Miles II is a talented wide receiver from Kaufman High School in Kaufman, Texas, and a top prospect in the class of 2026. At 6'3" and 200 pounds, he has the size, speed, and athleticism to dominate on the field.
In his sophomore year of 2023, he had 58 catches for 971 yards and 11 touchdowns. He's athletic, too, as he has a 4.55 40-yard dash and a 38.4-inch vertical jump, which have drawn interest from major college football programs like Oklahoma, obviously, and Michigan State, SMU, Texas Tech, USC, Kansas, and Stanford, all of which have offered him scholarships.
Miles is also an outstanding student with a 4.0 GPA and academic all-district honors, showing his dedication both on and off the field. As a potential four-star recruit, his recruitment is gaining momentum.
According to Rivals, Miles has locked in an official visit with the Sooners for June 20. That's when they will get a chance to show why he should go to OU.

The Sooners really need a get like that.
