It's a bit of a dead period in the college football world at this very moment, but that doesn't mean there isn't anything to talk about. While everyone suggests the Oklahoma Sooners' athletics department is tumbling down, the football program is getting straight to work, with no breaks or stoppages.

They are reaching out to, talking to, meeting with, and making great connections with every kid they desperately want on their team, and eventually, it will pay off. They only have four players committed to their 2026 class at this very moment, after bringing in a pretty good 2025 class. But at the same time, Ohio State, the National Champions, also have four in their 2026 class. So I wouldn't worry.

The Sooners still do need some players to start committing, and with official visits starting to be scheduled for the summer months, those commitments will come soon.

One player has his eyes on the Sooners, and who knows, he could potentially be interested in helping resurrect the Sooners and turn them back to the glory days of their high-flying offense. It's possible, but the Sooners will need as much help as they can get, and that includes players from the 2026 class, too.

Miles is a wide receiver in the 2026 recruiting class, playing for Kaufman High School in Kaufman, Texas. At 6'2" and 198 pounds, he has a strong combination of size, speed, and athleticism that has caught the attention of college recruiters.

In his sophomore year of 2023, he had 58 receptions for 971 yards and 11 touchdowns, earning First Team All-District honors.

Miles is also a multi-sport athlete, excelling in basketball and track. Over 10 college programs have offered him scholarships, including Oklahoma, USC, SMU, Texas Tech, Kansas, Michigan State, Arkansas, and Stanford.

Oklahoma was the first to offer, and many believe they led in his recruitment. He has official visits planned to SMU on May 2, 2025, and Oklahoma on June 20, 2025, with more likely to follow.
