Sooners’ elite position group could come out swinging against Alabama next week after acknowledging some crazy disrespect

The Oklahoma Sooners have one of the best defensive lines in football, but CFB 26 doesn’t think so.

The Oklahoma Sooners may have the best defensive line in the entire country, considering the starters and the rotational pieces they use for depth. Top to bottom, they are extremely dominant, and to make things even better, their best players are still pretty young. But College Football 26, the video game, doesn’t seem to think Oklahoma has the best defensive line. They certainly don’t respect a few of the players.

Oh, and you better believe the guys in the trenches have taken notice of that.

Oklahoma Sooners defensive line sees the disrespect from CFB 26

EA Sports’ CFB 26 recently updated some rankings for its players. When their social media accounts posted the ratings for the top-rated defensive line players in their video game, not a single OU player was anywhere to be found in the top ten. You can make the argument that David Stone, Jayden Jackson, and Gracen Halton are all top-15 defensive tackles in the country.

So, of course, they felt disrespected by that. However, they didn’t make a big fuss about it. The three of them all just commented the “100” emoji, with Stone adding another laughing emoji to it. Man, I’d hate to be the next team that faces that defensive line. Oklahoma has the second most sacks in the country at 33, behind none other than the Texas Longhorns with 34.

Just to prove how bad the ratings are, Texas also doesn’t have anyone in the top-ten. Peter Woods, the Clemson DT, is No. 1, and rightfully so. Damonic Williams is 16th as an 87 overall, while Halton is also an 87 at 17th. Stone and Jackson are both 83 overalls.

The Alabama Crimson Tide is hosting Oklahoma next week, as the Sooners have a bye week this week. That defensive line is going to have its work cut out for them as Bama has one of the better offensive lines in the SEC. But they live for those types of moments.

You better believe they’re definitely going to show up now, just like they did against the Tennessee Volunteers.
