The Oklahoma Sooners have lost a lot of players to the transfer portal, but we have to remember, some of these guys were always going to leave. And, some of them have already been replaced.

For example, the Sooners lost one of their special teams players to the transfer portal early in the portal, but have already replaced him. Now, after the Sooners have signed punter Jacob Ulrich, Ashton Logan, the former punter who didn't really play for the Sooners but was on the roster, has found a new home.

Former OU punter Ashton Logan commits to MTSU

Standing at 6'2" and weighing 217 pounds, Ashton Logan has committed to Middle Tennessee State University following the exit of Grant Chadwick, positioning him as the new punter for the Blue Raiders.

The announcement of his commitment was met with enthusiasm on social media. Having honed his skills at a Power Five institution like Oklahoma, Logan is expected to enhance the special teams with his expertise and reliability, qualities crucial for a punter in determining field position and influencing game results.

This is a place where he should be able to shine and show what he is able to do. Being a punter is not easy, but doing it at a place like Middle Tennessee should help his career get the jump it needs.

Sooners fans are probably all stoked for him.
