Jackson Arnold hilariously avoided an important question at SEC Media Days about Oklahoma

Last season, the Oklahoma Sooners had a ton of drama that no one really wants their football team to have. There is good drama, and then there is everything that happened with the Sooners in 2024.
They had one of their worst seasons since the 90s, and their second losing season in three years, which hasn't happened since the 90s. The offense was one of the worst in all of college football, if not the worst. They couldn't move the ball down the field, and at one point, the punter was the leading passer in a fake play against Missouri.
And then there was the firing of offensive coordinator Seth Littrell, along with all of the quarterback drama. The Sooners switched back and forth from Jackson Arnold to Michael Hawkins, with no success coming by way of the passing game. But they were both in a terrible situation. Arnold transferred to the Auburn Tigers and is now expected to be the starter there.
And, to make the drama even better heading into this season, the Sooners play the Tigers in Norman, Oklahoma, this season. And that could be a big one for Arnold and the Tigers. Since he's likely going to be the starter, he was at SEC Media Days in Atlanta, Georgia. And, of course, he was asked about Oklahoma.
“The scenery. They have a lot more hills and trees," Jackson Arnold said at SEC Media Days when asked about the differences between Oklahoma last year and Auburn this year.
As we all know, Oklahoma is pretty flat, and that's a big reason why they get the weather they get in Oklahoma. But that's not what this article is about. Arnold is media trained, and he's not falling for any questions that would make him, Auburn, or Oklahoma look bad.
When these two teams play each other this year, it's going to be very interesting to see how Arnold reacts to playing in Norman. How will he handle the emotions? Will he get cheers or boos? And, how does he play? If he goes in there and lights up a really good Oklahoma defense, the Sooners will end up looking silly for more than one reason.

That won’t be the last time.
